Take a look at the Coleman "Phad"... there are three and two person models.
I think the two person is mfg list $199.00.

I use this one - Netting Wanderer 2 and found it to be very spacious for a 2-man tent + with the netting version, it looks much bigger when you're inside because you're looking at the inside of the fly, not the tent. The poles may be a little long to fit in a pannier, but that wasn't a concern for me. The two vestibules and two entrances mean no climbing over a tent partner if you do share... hmmm... now maybe that's a bad thing, my wife can get out without climbing on me...

check out the sierra designs omega. they just came out with a new one for 08 so you can get an 07 on the cheap. i just got one to replace my rei half dome, which was also a good buy for the money. it kinda depends what you mean for a big vestibule. it is a larger sized 2 person so you can bring some stuff in the tent if need be.

Something like this.

Saw that setup in Rio Nido last year (the Thomases were traveling in high style). A very nice tent, but I'd have to sell a kidney to afford one.

Cool, but less than that.

The day is over, it's dumping household pets by the bajillions, you waited too long, you're fcked and know it, but then it's also gonna last for two more days.

The biggy is being able to see the world while you're still inside your little cocoon.

What's your take on the Tengus?

LR needs his liver, he probably would give up a kidney.

Looks OK, like many other tents out there.

Nemo makes a tent that has a vestibule that is flexible.

Takes about a minute to setup using air chambers.

Talking

The Hilleberg is nice, but $$ and I found the Exped Andromeda a great alternative. http://www.moontrail.com/exped-andromeda.php
I had tent issues last summer and used a NEMO as well. All was fine, until the poles started leaking Great concept and fast pitching, but the sleeve liners that hold air, are too cheaply made for long term use. Alu poles are still superior in terms of longevity and using a tent for 5 to 7 weeks really shows how well tents are made, or not...YMMV

I was going to suggest the MSR Velo. Judging from their website, they've stopped making it. crap, was on my shortlist. Maybe a new old stock one could be found.

North Face Road Runner

I have an old North Face road runner tent. It has two large vestibules. I recommed checking in out. It comes in 2 or 3 person models. I think it was recently discontinued, but you should be able to find it somewhere.

The vestibule on my Big Agnes Emerald Mountain SL3 is nice, although you do have to purchase it separately.

+1 on the Velo

Been using one for over two years. Great tent, but pricy.

I have a friend who may be selling his if you'll PM me I'll send his email.
