Nice. I've got a question about one of your shots where you placed the camera on the track. Did you need to ask permission first? In this day and age I could imagine someone phoning the police saying there's a madman out by the tracks placing a "package" on the tracks. Next thing you know you're getting a free colonoscopy.

I did one of those shots of the Cheyenne Frontier Days train. It was lead by UP 844 and a DD40X. I saw the train a few miles in advance and carefully and quickly set the camera up. Not sure of legalities but it was worth it.

Wow surprised to see a train thread here. I make my living on the rails. It is good money but the hours absolutely suck. You do get to see some interesting things happen when working out there though.
