Touratech folding gear lever

Expensive Touratech $%$^%^ folding gear lever. The folding front bit fell off on the first dirt ride it went on and it chose a particularly steep rocky hill just west of no where to leave me without gear selection. I now boycott Touratech products.

Those little plastic gizmos with the brushes that are supposed make cleaning your chain easy. What a joke!

Tourmaster/Cortech Decker leather pants. Very poor quality stitching. I would not expect these pants to stay together in a crash. Now looking at Vanson pants (should have done that in the first place).

worst consumer product that I've EVER purchased:
1999 VW Golf IV

Friends don't let friends buy Volkswagens.

Smith goggles. I bought a pair and a couple of extra lenses. Well, the light-sensitive lenses weren't, and the tint on the Sol-X lens actually bleeds off. According to their customer service, these aren't considered defects. Never again, I don't want something so shoddy protecting my eyes.

It's not an adventure unless you need a tent, a passport, and a leather glove for your shooting hand.

$150 for a bang bang is a bargain compared to escorts around here. They are $200 so you saved $50!

First Gear Mesh pants.

2003 VW Touareg. Whadda POS. Even after it qualified for Lemon Law, piss-poor VW forced it to arbitration...and they lost.

They had to buy it back.

A 90-something Ford Taurus. It ate alternators at a rate of one per 8,000 miles.

Olympia GoreTex overgloves. Whoever sewed the liners into these pieces of crap either had really skinny, short thumbs or they were playing a cruel joke. Impossible to use and worthless.

First Gear HT Air overpants. The crotch zipper lasted exactly one ride. Maybe the fit there was too snug.

Thor enduro jacket. All but four of the snaps came apart after just two rides rendering it nearly useless.

Sears Craftsman 3 ton floor jack. Oh, it lifts things fine but when not in use it takes up about 5' of floor space because the handle can't go vertical. One must remove and store the handle elsewhere. Dumb.

You're not paying them $200 to have sex with you. You're paying them to leave.
