Has anyone fitted a TT hard part TOGETHER with a SW Motech centre stand?

I would like to fit the hard part but have the centre stand?

If you are referring to the black "L" shaped thing, that isn't a TT part. It is made by an ADV forum member. Unless TT has stolen his design and started to manufacture their own (and charging triple).

But I don't have any info regarding the center stand.

I was actually referring to this TT thingy: (Which seems to be similar in operation but not as sturdy as the hard part that the forum member makes?)

I haven't, but there shouldn't be a problem. The centre stand brackets fit between the frame and the footpegs and use the footpeg mounting bolts. Well, that's exactly the same place where the hard part mounts. You'd place the centre stand bracket closest to the frame, then sandwich the hard part between that bracket and the footpeg

Both the hard part and the stand ship with longer footpeg bolts, and you'd have to decide if you're happy with the bolts since your footpegs are going to be placing more force on those bolts than the OEM design. If it was me, I'd buy some new bolts 1cm longer than the OEM (probably 5mm longer than the TT and Motech bolts.)

Also, hard hits to the hard part are transferred to the frame through those bolts, which stresses them even more. I carry an extra set of footpeg mounting bolts on my bike. This is because last summer I sheared off one of the footpeg mounting bolts when the hard part took a hard hit.

No practical exp. but I'd considered doing the same but figured the peg would be further out than I wanted and it solely be looking...doesn't the left mount of the stand do/protect the same as the hard parts since their basically in the same place?

The Wunderlich levers are great. You still need to lop the ends off.

You shouldnt need it with the stand. The stand kinda acts that way, may not be a HARD part but would take the hit.

I run the BMW bars and must say they work great as hard parts
