Just put a deposit down on the only Fusion White 08 Bonnie coming into our local dealer for my wife...

You guys have yourselves to blame for this. Already ordered the tach kit to be installed when they prep it. The bike hasn't even hit this continent yet and the farkling has begun. D@mn she's gonna look good on that.

If you don't do anything else, be sure to have them install an Air Injection Removal Kit before you drive it off the showroom floor. Doing so will eliminate most of the exhaust header bluing that happens with the AI installed. You can pick one up from NewBonneville.com or BellaCorse. Cheap.

Hey thanks for the tip. I could care less about blueing, I ride a BMW with sh!t brown headers and it doesn't bother me. How does a stock Bonnie run, out of the box? Jodie's not about performance but I'd just like it to run smooth, with no stumbling etc., so if they run OK I'll probably just leave it stock.

they run extremely well and quiet , it feels like a bonneville but the power says CB 350 Honda . D&D's will make it feel like a real bonneville and UH oh they are obnoxiously loud when your on the throttle but otherwise no worse than a harley , the pipes will blue no matter what they are cheap ass single wall pipes with shitty plating the ones on my wife's bonnie match the bike color , Cobalt Blue , LOL , & I have removed the AI long ago !

I'm afraid that I'd buy it, throw money at suspension and after market parts, and still end up with a bike that handles worse and is less versatile than my KLR. Maybe I'm just getting old...

I love my Sprint ST. I've put almost 100 miles on it in my first week of owning it.. just an unbelievable bike.

I can't answer to your "I'm getting old" sentiment, but I know what you mean. I have a KLR, too, and it is a hell of a machine. That Bonneville Black sure looks good, though. Anybody know what they are going out the door for these days?
