Skiing is too DANGEROUS!! That's why I ride motorcycles.
When I was a kid, we would ski, ride bikes and motorcycles without helmets. Now they wear helmets for everything. Never saw so many skiers with hard shells on their heads - and on some lame hill in Pennsylvania - not like it was serious skiing in the Rockies or Alps. Obviously, people have developed MUSH for BRAINS which have to be held in with a shell!

As for riding, I'm good to go if the ice has melted.

Actually I meant rally them for the AMA, then we'll work on Cleveland.

Thumb Ohio Riders

I have not checked regional forums up tell now. Don't know why. I live in Thornville Right off rt 13. I have an 01 naked SV650. I am in the market for a new 650 Dakar probably this summer. If you guys start up a monthly ride count me in. Glad tp see I'm not alone. I rode new years day and again about a week later. 21 deg when I pulled out. The cold weather helps keep out the riff-raff.

K1_SV, we haven't done any "organized" rides yet, partially because a lot of us here in Riderland are fairly spread out.
However, we're getting more and more ADVriders signing up now, so that's a definite possibility. Keep your eyes peeled to the Regional Forums come Spring and I'm sure something will pop up.
Or, for that matter, you can always suggest something yourself.

I ride to a breakfest meeting every sunday morning with the
"Buckeye Beamers" at the truck stop at the 36/37 exit on 71. Pretty good group of guys and some serious riders as well. All models welcome. I joined years ago when I had my R1100RS. They have rides after breakfest once the weather breaks and dinner rides each month as well.

Well, I didn't win a million but I did meet a couple of "nice" girls who informed me they were naughty.... Since I'm a small town boy, I wasn't quite sure what that meant. I think I was supposed to spank them, but it didn't seem an appropriate thing to do in the middle of a casino.

Hey, Thanks for the advice. I'm perfectly sane, well grounded and a model citizen.

Is anyone going to the open house at Honda Northwest tomorrow? Chance to kick tires and smell motorcycles while I watch it rain.
