I am behind as usual, and just read this. That is outstanding news! I can only imagine how it feels to reach that point in a cancer fight.

I am very happy for you!

swingset, where's your land located? I'm on the NW side of Columbus and backroads is on the east side.
I'd love some help, and sure coming out to roost around would be the least I could do in repayment....providing attendees promise not to break your neck and sue me!

The only rub about my property is briars. It's thick as hell with briars and that constitutes the bulk of the work when you clear a trail here....knocking those evil thorns back. Some parts are worse than others, but they get pretty nasty. And, with a bike trail you really want them out of the way cause I've decimated Carharts with 1500 denier panels by blasting into a multiflora patch on the ATV. I shudder to think what those things would do to ya wearing poly MX sleeves or bare skin.

I've got a Stihl brushcutter with a big blade on it that dices up the briars, and hedge trimmers work pretty good on them too but it's just a matter of getting a few guys to walk it, cut stuff and beat back a path, maybe use the tractor to build turns or whoops & bury some logs & make a few obstacles for fun. There's a lot of different terrain for being a small plot.

I'd be glad to help in exchange for some riding pointers and practice. Will watch here for you to give us the info when you want to get out in the woods with implements of destruction.

On another note. I decided I want a battery tender for each of my motorcycles and the sea-doo and the Artic Cat. I am tired of constantly moving them around to reach my current tender. I was emailed a "one day only" sale on the juniors for $20. This is a pretty good deal for my favorite brand of tender.

Rob,
Brittney and I will be there and maybe Brandon. I talked to Tom this afternoon and he said if the bike starts he will go.
See you in the morning around 8:00am.

Hope you had a happy one, Shawn.
