Hey, Thanks for the advice. I'm perfectly sane, well grounded and a model citizen.
Wow, there's a surprise. A perfectly sane, well grounded, model citizen on the Advrider site. Must have gotten here by mistake when browsing for Amway products, eh?

Is anyone going to the open house at Honda Northwest tomorrow? Chance to kick tires and smell motorcycles while I watch it rain.
I'll be there probably around 1:00 to 1:30. Look for the fat guy with a hangover who's growing a white beard.

Well, I didn't win a million but I did meet a couple of "nice" girls who informed me they were naughty.... Since I'm a small town boy, I wasn't quite sure what that meant. I think I was supposed to spank them, but it didn't seem an appropriate thing to do in the middle of a casino.
Psssssssst, that was a hint they wanted you to take them back to your room.

Huh? I was? The bar had BEER and my room didn't. If they'd said, "Hey, let's get a 12 pack and go up to your room," I might have figured it out! I'm wondering if this is why I never had a date in high school....

Yeah, that might have something to do with it ...

Woke up to another ohio winter morning, snow again. Well, I'll have to kick tires and watch it snow I guess.

This one really hasn't been too bad. the past two weeks have been a bitch, but prior to that I got to ride a couple times in Jan. But of course it's not like wintering in florida.

Open House

I did make it out to the open house at Honda Northwest today. They had a good turnout from what I saw. Hot wings weren't bad either.

Hate to break it to ya, but this has been a good one so far. Only the past two weeks have really sucked. Before that, it wasn't bad. we like to lie to ourselves and pretend that once Feb. starts the weather gets good again, but we probably have another four weeks before the roads are decent enough for a good long ride.

Does BMWRider know you're spreading this heresy?

Well, hell, I was there. Didn't see you. Well, actually I have no idea what you look like aside from maybe a little like Keanu Reeves?

Awwww, I hate false optimism.

Actually, this winter has sucked almost as bad as last year's. Not nearly as much snow but colder. And still enough snow/ice/sleet/freezing rain to make motorcycling most unappealing.
We're in for it for a good long time yet, I'm afraid. Just remember one truism in Riderland:

A mild winter brings a bad spring
A harsh winter brings a bad spring
