Yes they are, until they rust off of their frame and nickle-dime you to death, I can't think of a funner vehicle to play around on.

My first "real" 4x4 was a '78 CJ7, kept it around for 10 years until I had enough coin to restore it...had it for a long time till a deer & a ditch twisted it in half.

I think are changing our forcasted snow amounts every hour. Then again it has been snowing almost continuously for the last 10 days so whats another inch or 10.

The '09 I have now is my 5th (one YJ, three TJ's, two JK's). None of them have rusted, none of them have nickled/dimed me to death. I just don't keep them that long

This one has a lifetime powertrain warranty, so my hope is if it has problems they are Chrysler's problems. That is of course assuming Chrysler exists at that time

That's the secret to successful Jeep ownership...and it works on women too. Trade up before the frame starts to sag.

Can you explain that?

In the vehicle repair business 'lifetime' does not have a defined limit. The only stipulation is that within 60 days of each 5 year anniversary the vehicle must be returned to an authorized service center for a free inspection.

By Ohio law, every guarantee needs a specific amount of time. Some lawmaker at some point decided that open-ended guarantees were good for 7 years.

Not doubting you, but I was unable to locate anything in a search.

Here's what Jeep says:

Q15: What does 'lifetime' mean?
A15: Lifetime means lifetime.

http://www.jeep.com/en/lifetime_powe...ranty/faq.html

http://www.jeep.com/en/lifetime_powertrain_warranty/

Either they mean it or they're going to get their asses sued off, regardless of what Ohio law says.

Yet again, I have produced one of the most underwhelming dual sport videos in the history of EVAR!!!

This time featuring slo-mo, rockin soundtrack, snow, and uh....really that's it.

Baby steps, that's what uncle Buildit says.

Uncle is it? Hell I'm not ready to be an uncle yet!

I was able to download about half of it before the connection died, looked like fun sliding around in the powder.

I tried to make an amateur porn, set to Dire Strait's "Telegraph Road", but even with the magic of editing couldn't fill the 15 minute time slot. I included stock footage from the interweb. I have so much to learn.
