Good day, but will ride tomorro come hell or high water.
It quit raining here sometime while I was sleeping this morning, so we rode after noon. That was in Butler.

I didnt hit rain until I got back in Marion. I rode all over Morrow and it was beautiful out. I managed to hit some small time trails to get some mud on my riding pants so I dont look like a rookie.

My way is cheaper.

For a DS/dirt bike tire, being good at spooning 'em on is important...you'll need that skill on the trails or backroads somewhere, and who gives a snot if you scratch a dirt bike rim? Well, I say that rhetorically...some people actually do care if they scratch their dirt bike rims. Weird OCD people.

Tire machines work on more than just dirt bike tires

You own a car, right?

Persistent bugger!!

My friend has a tire changer but it inconvenient to have to drag things over there so I just spoon them on as needed. Maybe if he lived a little closer (hint hint George).

A regular set is no problem but the 4 ply rally tires and the rears on the 950 tend to take a minute or two longer.

I bet you never open the keyboard as time goes on though. I wish mine didn't have it. It's fast huh?

on both accounts. the keyboard does seem like a possible point of failure.

I don't change any tires enough to justify the buy-in on a machine that big. It's cool stuff, don't get me wrong if 10 guys went in on one and it was a convenient location, maybe but that's not likely.

Not that much of a hassle to spoon on a tire every few months, at least not to me.

My sister has one and it's amazing. I steal it from her whenever the opportunity arises and drain the battery for her. Battery conditioning, I say

But yes, the keyboard was always my biggest hang up with them. Waiting til june in hopes of a verizon iPhone. If not, HTC Incredible is what I'm after, methinks.

Congrats on the new phone. I was wishin' I had one on a recent ride where there was no service at the campsite, yet WiFi was available just on the other side of the campground. Could have called the wife via skype, woulda been handy.

The Palm Pre Plus has the worst keyboard I've seen yet on a phone but it has a built in wifi hotspot switch. Turn it on and up to 5 devices can have wifi internet. Verizon recently made it a free (5GB/mo.) feature.
