Honda's VTM-4 (Variable Torque Management) is a interesting concept. Leave it to Honda to take a different approach.

I thought about that lesbo thing, then rented one in Colorado. Drove through a 10" snow storm and knew I had to have one regardless of the stigma and connotations. One big burly lesbian.

I had a Volvo 240 wagon that was a snow loving beast. It had a LSD, and I found a set of dry rotted studed tires on craigslist. Passed quite a few stuck/ spinning 4x4's with that combo. Unfortunately the salty roads exposed all the spray foam and bondo in the rockers. Wish I would have pulled the rear end so I could put it in the daughters 240.

My 92 Chevy 2wd diesel with LSD is more confidence inspiring than the wife's 4x4 Tahoe.

Yeah, having a LSD in any car no matter the driveline/configuration is nice. Improves any vehicle's snow or performance prowess.

When mazda dug around in the parts bin for the AWD system on my car, they put in the LSD rear diff from the RX8.

I always heard having LSD in a vehicle make the scenery look like it's melting and 5mph feels like 1000.

Driving with LSD makes me paranoid.

It's a 1980. I just put on the bars, pipe, KR flattrack seat and tail section, and shimmed the needle. It's a fun ride. I always think I'll ride it more, but I only put a few hundred miles on it a year. Maybe next year...

I'm getting out of the hospital tomorrow to await my next surgery in my own home. It will be exactly two months since the shooting... sometimes it feels like six months, other times just a couple weeks.
