Nah, he is on the north side on SR60. He has a sharpening business as well as MTB XC and DH stuff. ( His girlfriend is a pro downhiller)

The newer Rhynos ( last 5-6 years) are pinned and welded. You must not have been the only one that had that problem....

He did pretty well on the story. Not sure where he got three major surgeries... I had that the first day I was there and seven more after that The one they played on tv had the audio of my sergeant screaming "officer down". I wasn't expecting it and it hit pretty hard. Even though I heard him say it that day as he was standing over me, there's something more dramatic of hearing it on a recording.

EDIT:
I just noticed that Reitzel posted the raw interview footage here: http://www2.nbc4i.com/news/2011/feb/...7557-vi-24736/
It's long, twenty-some minutes.
I hope you have the rights to the title of the interview, it would be a great book title and that would give you something to do while your off. Congrats, except for the getting shot part.

If anyone got the new Motorcyclist, the last column is by an Ohio guy, I think he's a member here also at TT for sure, MarkSan, if anyone's rode any of the sanctioned DS rides they probably have seen him, nice guy. Cool column, too.

Welcome vanaman, btw.

'bout a year and a half early for me or I'd be calling. Once I'm healed I'll be looking for just such a bike. Looks nice, good luck on the sale.

The way you performed in the terrible situation you were in was just amazing. Excellent, and it's great to hear the healing process is going well. You are getting stronger every day. I think we all wonder how we would act when the proverbial shit hits the fan.

I am surprised how many people contacted me about the Strom already. Pretty popular machine in the ADV world, I guess.

We had a little dry pavement this morning, right before the freezing rain started.

I'm a daily walker, and the snow/ice is even messing with my walking. When I was out walking/slipping around last week-end, I had a moment of clarity and started having thoughts about getting some cross country ski's. Ive never been on ski in my life, but then again it was this kind of thinking that lead me to get a motorcycle.

Well, it turns out they have this internet thing now, so I read up cross country skis, and ordered some up off the eBay. I working the reverse anti-snow juju here, hoping that if I get some ski's that it won't snow enough the rest of the year to use them. It's a $212.94 experiment.
