.[QUOTE=swingset;16206115]Anyone riding Flint Ridge next weekend? I haven't heard anyone mention it. I'm riding it for sure, unless it's a complete mud fest.

I plan on going just put a fresh set of 606's on this weekend. I live about 3 miles from flint ridge park so I guess I can make the long trip

I in with the same stipulations. I did my yearly mud fest already at Hanging Rock.

Riding in the downpour yesterday though seems to have cleaned the rest of the southern Ohio mud off. It also seems to have washed the nikwax out too. I think its a good time wash and re-waterproof them.

Ironically, after a hot, dirty day of slogging through the trails, I'll smell and probably look like most of the people you'll see at Comfest.

Believe it or not my Care Meter is pegged.

When I'm down & out I can go two ways, fuck everybody that's having fun or embrace everyone that's having fun.

I'm choosing option 2 this time. I loved reading about Luke's ride, Swings Shooting, your run etc.

Also Ron stopped by Saturday morning & we changed his tire. That may have been the best medicine yet. Poor timing on my part though, he brought lots of nice beers but it was a little too early for me to start drinking (I know unheard of ) So for the next few weeks anyone that wants any work done we'll have to start after noon

Carry on

P.S. Successful shoulder/clavical surgery this morning

Oh great, now everyone will have my top secrete ride route. See if you don't come to the ride you are supposed to have to suffer.

They must have just built the 2,100 foot hill , it wasn't there the last time I was down that way.

I wondered where that was, too.

You didnt swear everyone to secrecy with the double secret blood-brothers handshake at the beginning of the ride, so I figured it was an open source route.

track your mouse pointer along the elevation map and it will show you where each point is on the route line...works the other way round too

Looks like it was near the-almost-half-mile-high-metropolis of Mineral. I get lightheaded and dizzy when I go over there.
