At your height, you'd probably be hard pressed to find an aftermarket screen tall enough to stop buffeting, so your only solution then is to lower your windscreen so your entire head is in the windstream. At least the buffeting turbulence should be less, but you may have to build up more neck muscles than before.

There are so many things creepy about that statement...

As intended, I know.

Didn't MikeTV say he was going to Comfest? Wonder if he's down here yet? I've got a beer here for him if I can find him.

Same goes for any AdvR's who can find me near the Bozo stage.

Saw a cute little thing heading west out of Lima on a newer 250 Ninja on SR 309. Black bike, pink/white jacket, wavy red hair down to her shoulder blades. Of course I was stuck in a pick-up loaded down with wood so she was out of sight before I could get a look at her tag to see where she was from.

Not often you see a female rider on anything but a Harley in these parts.

Sure that wasn't my friend Larry? We call him Hippy 'cause of his hair and he is small and petite. Many a man has whistled at him as he was walking away through the pits at races, he'd turn around then their stomachs would do the same when they saw his face!!

(Don't worry, he is clean cut with short hair now)

I dared a drunken friend to grab a chics ass once. We sure was surprised to see a hippy turn around with a full beard!

Unless Larry rides around wearing a pink and white leather ICON jacket I'd say yes, I'm sure. And if he does, well...someone really needs to talk to that boy.

I am pure poser now. I rode down the river and then cut across to Quaker Steak. Eating me some wings and then headed to the pony. The KLR sure looks purty next to 30 harleys.

Nice ride this morning, the plan was to ride all the way down SR 26 from it's County Road start in Morristown.

Got to Woodsfield and stopped at McDonalds for coffee, there was a guy there on a farkled up black and yellow GS with the fancy rectangular TouraTech hard luggage and lots of stickers. I have seen him before, he is from Freeport.

They had a little train going down to ride the ferry at Fly, he was 2 up with his wife, there was a girl on a brand new HD, just out of MSF course and with less than 600 miles total motorcycle time, and a guy runnning sweep in an MG.

SR 26 is closed 9 miles from where it turns off 800 south of Woodsfield. There is also a sign that says SR 255 will be closed for 45 days starting tomorrow. According to OTIS/ODOT;

"Part of State Route 26 in Monroe County will be closed due to bridge replacement work starting on June 20, 2011. Roadwork will begin 0.02 mile North of SR 537 or around mile marker 5.61 Weather permitting; work will be completed on August 15, 2011."

Finally done cleaning up all the crap I muddied at Flint Ridge! Mud+hay+heat makes adobe, and it it's friggin hard to get off an airhead cooling head.

Great time tho! Trails were really fun this year.

For a change, I'm sipping a beer and feeling like a million bucks instead of a twisted up, sore pretzel.
