Umm, I have a 2 hour drive to work during which time you could have called me and we could have discussed numerous things, including how much I love you, how happy I am with you, and that fact that I would opt for Ortlieb Dry bag saddlebags from Aerostich if I were looking for soft, throw over bags.

Obviously you know my suggestion for hard bags would be Happy Trails because you park next to me every day.

However, given your riding style and needs, I think the Ortlieb would be a good choice. They are totally waterproof and easy to mount, and reasonably priced for what they are. Plus they come in bitchin' black and yellow flavors.

Wives like to disobey the chain of command. You'll get used to it.

Sorry, Larry. It was too good to keep to myself.

If you'd brought the V-strom you might have been front page!

Speaking of awesome, reminding anyone that didn't see the post that my big bike ride is coming up on the 9th, and I have the route ready in .gdb and .gpx format for anyone coming, just IM me if ya want it.
So I take it your ride is no longer just a gravel road ride? I'll try to make it but should I bring my now famous KLR or the lesser known Dl1000?

Hi all,

Can anyone recomend a KTM dealer to service a 990 Adventure and a 450 Exc in the Cleveland Akron area?

Thanks,

Massillon (Actually in a township just north). But think Football Hall of Fame, and you're REALLY close.
Leading up a ride with my wife's club (nothing like having 5 biker women hot on your a$$) on a ride to OH555 this weekend. Should be a nice all day event...

Thanks,
Ohio Motorcycle in Oakwood (just off I-271/I-480) sells KTM.
http://www.ohiomotorcycle.com/

I have not experienced their service department and don't own a KTM so can't make any suggestions on to how good they are.

There are a couple sections that are unimproved roads that have some big ruts and resemble offroad. Knowing where you take the DL you could make either of these sections unless it was really wet.

Which bike are you using? We could use the video to shame the strom trooper guys about being such on road whimps. Since BTD left (got baned) the site could get harassed by moped riders for their lack of off pavement riding.
