That reinforces my point. Soccer is so lacking in sensible, justifiable beatings on the field that the fans have to start it themselves.

Either that or the mind-numbing drone of the vuvuzelas cause rage issues for 20,000 drunken imbeciles.

As far as getting the ticket, that's interesting. I had to go back and read over the section. My definition, "front" is not hanging off your visor, because that is more "middle", or maybe "front third" of your car. "Front" is "front".

I see you are going to pay it anyway so I guess it's a moot point, but I doubt you'd win if you fought it. I do agree it's a cheesedick ticket though... had you speeding and that was his way of writing you an equipment ticket to cut you a break that's one thing, but to gank you just for that is BS.
Like you said, it doesn't matter I already mailed the check. My talking points were along the lines that the auto industry defines the windshield as part of the front of the car. It was in the windshield. Since front is not defined in the ORC, I could put it on top of the left front fender and be OK.

I work in safety forces assessment. I've been all over in that same car, and none of those I've worked with has ever said it was a problem. The only time I asked, the Lt. in my car, he said that if he could stand in front of the car and see the plate I was fine. If I ever do a promotional or entrance exam in that jurisdiction, I'll take another vehicle.

I think the county is so hard up for money that they are writing these tickets at the OVI checkpoints to enable them to keep the state grant money.

EDIT: It's an Audi allroad

I actually waste more time waiting in traffic at the OVI checks. Unfortunately, one of the roads I frequently take is a popular place for them. I've already figured out my go-around for next time, and will probably save time. If I start getting pulled over just for the plate outside of an OVI checkpoint, I may have to go to court to see what side of the law I'm on with the plate on the visor. It's the first time in the 7 years I've had the vehicle that it's happened. If I get another one in 7 years, I'm OK with that.

No workie unless you're a KTM owner/forum member.

I used to own one, but it was the wrong color so I'm out in the cold.

Anyone going to this? Anyone been to one to know if it's worth going?
I went to the BMWRA in WVA in 2009. Rode my V-Strom, I went with a buddy, I thought I would treated like a leper, but no problem, had a nice time. Drank beer, and had a scary ride in the mountains in a hail storm.

Do you really mean to insult the entire town due to the behavior of a few people at a game? Come on now, you've been here long enough to realize that most central Ohioans are good people. It's just the very vocal and usually inhebriated few that give the rest of us a bad name at times.
