Anyone here go take a test ride on the Yamaha Stryker cruiser? They were (are?) offering free Oakley Gascan sunglasses if you take a ride and fill out a form supplied by the dealer.

I was skeptical, but sure enough, they came in the mail today. First pair of sunglasses I ever owned that cost more than $20. I guess they are kind of cool.

Don't worry, you'll grow bored of them quickly and sell them or give them away.

Gonna have to do that...

edit: Some sites are saying that you need some number that was on a mailed-out postcard, truth?

No.

The sales guy told me the same thing, that I would need a postcard with a number on it. I told him just to try and shoehorn the paperwork through, and he did.

When you take the ride, you get a receipt that has a 6 digit number on it; that number then gets input into the website when you are giving them your mailing info.

I did notice that there was a spot to put in the number off your postcard, but since I had no postcard, I just inserted a random 6 digit numerical sequence, and it obviously accepted it.

Sounds like a good time and hopefully no plans are being made that'd keep me away. Very similar to the trails we rode at the Snow Shoe KTM weekend which was a total blast.

It rained here. I'm making them wait until Thursday.

This whole fiasco has taught you monk-like patience. Many lesser men would have climbed a clock tower with a rifle over losing prime riding season waiting on a vapor-bike, but not you....man of stone!

Inspiring, that's what you are.
