I feel so special, that's twice you've mentioned me meeting for breakfast!

But you better make it quick, new job starts 9-5-11; after that I am off the grid for a while. Actually the County 51-59 ADV contingent is meeting for breakfast tomorrow at the Cornerstone in Mt GIlead, 915 am, should you care to join.

New bike looks fun!

Hello all,

I'm looking for an inmate that presumabely lives on Tussic St. in Westerville and rides a KTM 990/950 Adventurer. I live down the street and I would be great find a fellow adventure rider near by.

Thanks

That would be me on the 990, I was there this evening visiting my Grandparents. I live a little West of you in Lewis Center.

One thing I did forget to mention,

Do NOT let the battery go totally dead. Even then the kicker will do you no good. The ignition system, unlike most bikes, will not spark the plug without proper juice.

I don't think you're going to have any problems lofting the front wheel.

Mgorman, I've scoured those threads for months. I'll get it dialed in sooner or later. I think it'll be a pretty fun bike. I checked out the new route they're building for Election House Rd tonight out by the Lancaster airport. Nice sweeping curves, but dusty as all get out. No one around though, so I checked it out twice!

Meef, I'd love to meet you guys, but I've got stuff to get swapped around, title, tags, new keys made, etc. What's the new job?

Might need to re-gear a bit first - A little FCR magic goes a long way as well (but not cheap)

Mike - Do you still have the BST in yours?

Flashover - if you want to play with the discs inside your muffler, let me know. I probably have a few extras about the garage. It is agood idea to pull them apart once a year to clean them and put antisieze on the screws. That muffler isn't the lightest, but I love how quiet it is - great for sneaking around without ticking the neighbors off

When you have a couple free hours, pull off the left case cover and replace the seal on the end of the crank. It helps make sure the con rod big end bearing is getting lubed. There were a few failures that were suspected of being caused by the seal failing and allowing oil to have an easier path to the sump than through the bearing.

Nothing to add to that, just curious how Frankenbike is coming along... did you get 'er all back together yet?

A pair of Hooters has gone bust in central Ohio.

With sales deflated, 2 Hooters closing up
A pair of Hooters has gone bust in central Ohio.

The restaurant chain known for its chicken wings and Hooters Girls waitresses in low-cut tank tops has closed its location at 8591 Sancus Blvd. near Polaris and will close its location at 5901 E. Main St. on the Far East Side by Labor Day, a manager of the latter restaurant said.

The closings will leave one remaining Hooters restaurant in central Ohio, at 5225 Nike Station Way in Hilliard, said the manager, who declined to provide his name because he was not authorized to speak for the company.
...
I can hear the laughter at the Dispatch in the article.
