Correct, it is going 1/3 of the way to Peoria and then will catch a ride with some other ADV'er down to Houston.

Is that considered NW OH and North Central IL or what? Your grasp of geography intrigues me

I was joking I have to work the next two nights, but I like road trips too and would go if I could. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but I love truck stops and stop when there's no good reason to just love to check them out...and no it's not about the showers full of burly truckers (I know that joke was coming from someone, I just know it).

Swing, I haven't yet tried anything with it. I was just gathering ideas and a possible parts list, since it seems to take about 6-8 weeks to get parts in. I will give that a try though.

mgorman, and MeanStreaker, I'll give that a try, since it should be easy enough to do, and sounds like a likely culprit.

Thanks all!

No, one joke per ride.

I was joking about missing the road trip.

Suppressors don't require a permit in Ahia, just a $200 tax-stamp after passing the background check...you do need CLEO sign off, an LLC, or form a legal trust (the latter being the easiest/cheapest if your local sheriff is an anti gun dickwad, some are).

I don't currently have a can, have had them in the past tho. I do have an SBR tho, and have owned MG's too the process is the same for all of 'em.

Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!

Need some help finding a part for a 1979 KZ650 SR (KZ650-D2). Apparently it's been discontinued and not a single dealer in the U.S. has one left-over in their inventory. What I need is the swing arm sleeve (#6 in the diagram below) that the bearings ride on. Kawasaki's P/N was 42036-1012

Unfortunately a sleeve from a B3/C3 model won't work as those models used bushings rather than needle bearings.

Can you mic it and get a piece machined to fit?

guesstimating from the picture, I'm saying its a 6 inch piece of 1/2 in pipe nipple, sans threads...I'll stick one in the mail tomorrow

seriously tho, it shouldn't be too hard to match up something on such a simple shape

Yeah, I have all the dimensions off it, the problem would be finding someone with a 16mm drill bit long enough to bore a 9" hole and not have it drift off center. Would also need to be hardened.

O.D. = 22mm
I.D. = 16mm
Length = 8.8125" (8-13/16")
