guesstimating from the picture, I'm saying its a 6 inch piece of 1/2 in pipe nipple, sans threads...I'll stick one in the mail tomorrow

Yeah, I have all the dimensions off it, the problem would be finding someone with a 16mm drill bit long enough to bore a 9" hole and not have it drift off center. Would also need to be hardened.

O.D. = 22mm
I.D. = 16mm
Length = 8.8125" (8-13/16")

I think Whitey has the best idea to call the Rice paddy. If they don't have it they might be able to cross reference another bike that used the same part.

Oversized bar stock, drilled to 16mm, then turned to 22mm OD, then hardened, is how you'd do it.

Please check with dealer to be sure, but according to Kawasaki.com, it looks like the KZ650B2 uses 4
needle bearings – part #92046-1115 (these are available Ron Ayers price = $8.80 each, Z1E may
charge less?) and 1 swing arm sleeve – part #42036-1012 (no longer available from dealer, but some
internet parts dealers have them). Always check the eBay part numbers against Kawasaki.com before
buying because the folks selling stuff very often list the wrong models for the parts their selling. You
may be able to get a refund if the seller is honest, if not, let us know his eBay ID so we are extra careful.

Anyway, when I got the bike, the low beam ballast was hosed. You'd hit the switch and it'd flicker but not fire. I ordered a set of H1 bulb/ballasts for $38 on eBay and got them in today. Two wire hookup. All I had to do was replace the bulb and ballast on the low beam side. I was done in half an hour and really wanted to try them out. Once I got out of town, I hit the high beam. Dirty had wired the switches so I could have the high beam on by itself or high and low at the same time. When that high beam lit, I could see every reflector for at least half a mile. Not "hey, is that a reflector down there?" but "Hole LEE COOOWW! This looks like a runway!" I've never seen motorcycle headlights this bright. I wish I'd have done this on my EXC when I had it. If you have a separate high beam bulb and low beam bulb, I'd at least look into this. You could probably put everything together for $150 or so. The low beam didn't seem to bother anyone, or at least they didn't bother to flash me. I used to hate riding at night. I did fifty miles tonight just because. These bulbs are only 35W as opposed to the 55Ws that come stock. Not bad, at least twice the light and a little more than half the power draw. I'm really liking this thing...

I'm always getting flashed with the low beams on. So I flash back to prove the point and they end up in a ditch because they can't see anything but a giant white spot for three hours.

That's nothing, you should have seen the utility quad on top of the Geo Tracker I followed up 33 from Nelsonville last weekend. Couldn't get past that one fast enough!
