The kicker on the KLR is stupid easy. Meredith could do it, no problem. You can actually start it with your arm pretty easily.

Do we need an end of the year garage day scheduled?

Maybe a starting/ending point for a DS ride? Some stay some go?

I'm just trying to think of some way to get some of that homemade pie to Frazeysburg

I would bring 1 or 2 pies... and I would be very appreciative of some strong arms to help me set up suspension by the book. I find that impossible to do by myself.

How can I help?

You just didI'm headed to Toby's to change some tires. Get EJV to come over because I don't know crap about Teneres. Of course we'll have to make sure swingset can come because his wife makes outstanding pies

I'll check on some dates and post up.

Can it be on a Sunday? These things are always on Saturdays and I gotta work. Or maybe that's the reason why ...

later,

Pie Day! I'm there for some garage! I'm down for any weekend except the Oct 1 PA Dual Sport weekend.

I will gladly show off the Better Blue Tenere if a black tenere will be there.

Just my perspective. I am cheap and over evaluate everything. After lurking around the OC and BMW forums a while, I decided NOT to buy a 950 or GS after what I read. Then realized, it's only a few people bitching and the rest adding to the mix. Looked around for both but a good deal came up on the 950 so I bought it.

If you buy one, you have to realize a few things

1) repair bills are much cheaper when you do the work yourself (any brand really) Bucket & Shim on the valves but mine have yet to need adjusted. oil changes are not fast by any means.

2) It's not a goldwing

3) Saddle could leaving you feeling like a prison bitch

4) It's heavy when you drop it but I'd rather drop that than a big beemer or bike with fragile plastic

5) ferocious appetite for rear tires

6) Not 2 or 3 dealers in a 30 mile radius, in fact, there might not even be 2 or dealers in a 50 or 75 mile radius, maybe one if you're lucky.

I have one within 50 miles, but I've yet to need them.

Funny this just came up.

I have been thinking about dates for a followup to last years fall garage day at our place. Don't want to start a garage day war with Goonie though, especially if it would deprive him of some pie.

I was thinking Oct 8th or 9th. Any interest, let me know. No reason we can't have 2 fall garage days I guess!
