With a long wait to ride, it sounds like a Tenere. Wait. If broken, then a BMW.

Sorry man, I haven't heard of that pub and I don't see it in the local phone book. Boy am I gonna to miss the German beer, especially the hefweisen

I rode my mountain bike by your old Comm facility today. The place is still going strong! Lots of trails all around that area, but if you ride on them with anything that has an engine you could get a 2000+ euro fine.

I park mine in front of Scott on weekdays, but I wasn't there on Saturday.

Welcome to the area! Like buildit said earlier, I live in Beavercreek (between Dayton and WPAFB) and ride a wr250r. There is a member only place ($130 per year) that is rugged and gnarley in Dayton called Dayton Dirt Riders, a pay by the day place called Thrashing Trails, and a few outlaw areas that really aren't worth the risk. Buildit is right, the good riding is about an hour and a half away, east of Chillicothe. Watch this thread and if Buildit offers up another Tar Hollow ride that fits your schedule, make sure you go! -Mike

I don't have any knobbies, but count me in. I'm sure there will be some big strong individuals to help drag my butt through the mud...

Looking for 10 to 15 riders.

And before Sion asks, "Bikes MuST be street legal". Best to have some good knobies, and you'll probably drop it once or twice so leave trailer queen bikes at home.

I used to mountain bike through there, too. I once blew through the middle of someones field exercise. The guards weren't quite "on guard" and I was half-way through their shit before I heard the first "halt," so I just kept riding.

The only thing I hated about riding back there is all the field phone wire they left behind. I'd usually get tangled up in it.

Here's a little video of a motorcycle chase from July down at Polaris. The cop is a friend of mine and wanted me to put it on YouTube for him. The supervisor eventually makes him cancel but they got the guy later via investigation. The video is still processing so no option to embed yet.

Another 3 minutes and he would have been out of gas anyways.

Not bad riding for a cruiser. The cruiser seemed to handle really well, but it seemed kinda risky to pursue the guy in that traffic.

Did the guy just panic or was there a violation that I missed?

I noticed that.

I didnt realize they even had functional stereos in cruisers. I have listened to the scanner for 20 yrs and never noticed music in the background.

I was thinking we could just attach a harness to you and you'd drag us all thru! I really hope Saturday is dry to give some areas a little time to dry out. Otherwise you may all get to ride thru the mud silt flow off the hill where they are logging.

Still only you and Bean confirmed so we need some other brave souls.
