As long as you do Special Duty at Motorcycle Events (Superbike, etc) the "ADV in Ohio" is still there, and I can stop and BS for a while, it's all good. At some point, I may even not actually mention the word Tenere in every paragraph or thought.

Glad to see how far you have come in your recovery to this point! Keep it up!

Did someone say Super Tenere?

I was finally able to sit on one. Luckily it wasn't too tall for my 29 inch inseam. The girlfriend like the backseat too! Too bad they wanted 14500 for it without the bags. Ouch. Still thinking maybe next spring or summer.

You young people. Technically, I should paint mine purple and wear a red helmet... I'm just not that obnoxious. ((People who know me may remain silent))

When you mature a little, you'll recognize the intrinsic goodness of the black SUPER Tenere.

Mikef5000, you have done some awesome trips!

lol. The Blue implies "SUPER". No need to state the obvious. You old folks, resistant to the ways of the young people........

Yes. I may just show up to help provide the proper footage. (Blue).

It would be such a short video... the camera would instantly show the sublime beauty of the absence of color vs "impact blue." In fact, I think it was the unfortunate choice of names that partially led to my decision to go black.

We would see how a gaggle of Tenere's sorted out... Ravens vs "impact blue". Ummmm, happy to be in the Raven camp.

caannonrider sez:

"Anyone interested in a ride on Sat. Oct.29th? "

Damn....I will most likely still be in the throes of jet lag from hell.....after a 30 hour road trip home from Kazakhstan...but so damn tempting...though I would have a GOOD ride in by the time I reached Morrisville...

Put me down as a definite maybe.....if this jet lag from hell is like th eAustralia jet lag from hell...I will still be a quivering lump of jello on the 29th....though some say that is a normal day

If it's the stability you're after, maybe a Miata would be a better choice?

The only car that made me smile everytime I saw it... Bought one in 1994 and ran the !?$@& out of it. I use to say that it was the closest thing to a motorcycle I would ever have. That was until someone talked me into riding on a motorcycle.

Lots of stuff you can do with a Miata... And lots of social stuff if you choose.

I actually think I would rather have a MX-5 rather than some of the trike conversions out there.
