Pending lawsuit against ACME corporation for defective products and unsubstantiated advertising claims.

That's true, but NJ Suburbs are actually a safe haven if you think about it...hard time hunting them there, they have access to trash and water, and they're under no grave threat raiding.

Southern Ohio? Jethro and his 12 guage will make quick work of black bears...especially if Yogi stumbles onto Jethro's meth operation.

I just wonder who his healthcare provider was.

No matter how serious the injury, he seemed just fine 10 seconds later.

While he had great trauma care, I bet his premiums were outrageous.

Very true about Jethro

I bet if it was a bunch of polar bears the cops would have magically been able to come up with tranquilizer darts.

IMHO Ohio could use a small population of predators.
I'm not sure if they are still around, but when I was in highschool, we used to hunt the woods in what are now the CVNP, and I'm sure we heard some sort of large cat. I'd guess mountain lion. Didn't hear it that often, and didn't go investigate when we did.

Not mnt lions but I have seen Bob Cats in Ohio. The feral cat population is more than likely a factor in the survival of Bobcats and coyotes.

Yup. Told this story here last fall, but I saw a Bobcat up near Killbuck while riding...just sitting on a log looking at me. Awesome animal.

They don't over breed and they're territorial as hell, so they'll probably never be flush like coyotes, but it's cool that there are still some cats out there.

I've actually had three people in my career take a dump IN my car.

The response to that is the same as if a dog poops on the floor. You rub their face in it.

I know some of you folks are near Alexandria. Mom had permission to cut and ride close to 200 miles of horse trail back when she did endurance trail rides. All those trails at the Lobdell horse park? She cut 'em. It's been ten years at least, but she'd see a bobcat or two a couple times a year out around Mounts and Lobdell road and back behind the Bexley Conservation club. There was a pretty large fox population there too.

Hey Meef, I'd like to ride but can we make it a little later start? Maybe 11:00am? I gotta ride over 80 miles and it'll be cold! You gotta remember I'm old and feeble and not as tough as you young guys.

Later,
M
