It will be rougher roads and medium to skilled level riders so you may be beyond your comfort zone, Mike.
I'm beyond my comfort zone as soon as I get out of bed every morning so I think I'll pass on this one. Thanks for the honest assessment of the plan. Hope to catch you next time.

Take some pictures!

Mike, you should go. Wills Creek isn't any harder than Tar Hollow and you know those guys will help you if needed. Just take the BMW like you had it set up for Tar Hollow.

I'd like to come but I gotta work. Hopefully next weekend we can plan to hit Tar Hollow area again. I didn't drop my bike on the last visit ...

Thanks, but I figured you had to work. I was talking about the ride Shawn and Larry are looking to do near Coshocton on Sunday.

I was really hoping to find someone to ride Tar Hollow with this weekend, as I dont know where any of the trails are...next weekend is out for me due to working afternoon shift...but this weekend I'm on nights so I can squeeze in some morning riding, or sleep in the morning and ride in the afternoon.

whaddaya say Luke, you and Dagny up for a change of plan if me and Solace are gonna come along?

Family obligation Sunday. sorry. Rob and I rode Richland Wednesday and it was still in good shape despite the rain. If you wanna give the Honda a work out I'd suggest checking it out. Take 327 south from rt50 till you see the drive with the antlers on the arch. Just past that make a left and you'll go right past the parking lot entrance. If you get to the lumber trucking place you just missed it. Serious, check it out. I think you'll like it.

well, I was talking about saturday instead of sunday, which is why I mentioned Dagny and change of plan...but if you stick with the rail bed ride, I might just do that. or if you can tell/show me where to get onto the trails in Tar Hollow, I might go there instead

I'm in for the rail bed ride and after party. I'll be on the Uly, see you at McD's at 10a.

Dress warm with layers you can remove. It's supposed to be windy again tomorrow and with our lack of trees, well you can cool off fast!

Any of you folks ride in Washington, Monroe, Noble counties regularly? There are tons of great gravel roads around here, I know most of them, but am pretty new (slow) to riding motorcycles. If anyone wants to see some of these roads, I'd be willing to show if you're willing to go slow or if you ride around here regularly, I'd be willing to tag along. I've done a few 200+ mile days with no ill effects, so my butt is tough anyway. :) I live in Marietta.
I have a 1993 KLR650 with Tourances on it, they spin a little in the muddy creek crossings in the middle of some of the roads I ride.I may look for a 80/20 or 70/30 instead of these 90/10s. Suggestions?
BTW, I can appreciate the mountain biking talk, I was 3rd overall in the sport class of the West Virginia series a couple of years ago. I really enjoy the 40-100 mile distance, though.

Skinko 244 is a good 50/50 tire and does well on the road.
