John,

The shield is adjustable to allow the bulk of the wind to either go over your helmet, or hit you right in the chest. It has a skinny profile and is intended to funnel airflow around the dash onto your torso. Not a wind blocker or a cold weather only screen, especially since you probably have winglets on your bike now that your used to.

Thanks, dude.

It's the time of year for mandatory briefings (aka, death by PowerPoint), so it's especially painful to be in uniform this weekend.

Never wore the uniform... been on the business end of the Air Force aircraft acquisition for over 25 years so I am very familiar with those that do! Love the Guard!

Mansfield? Springfield?

I was at Lockbourne AFB which was later renamed to Rickenbacker AFB. We had cast off stuff from the regular AF F-100s, KC-97s and later recieved new A-7s Sadly all those planes are either scrapped or put up on a pole. Carl

A cool tag would be a bike next to a plane on a pole, with Carl taking the picture from the air in his plane!

Wicked

Well folks... speak now or forever hold your peace!

2009 KLX250S
This thing was bought new buy a guy that owns a machine shop and likes to work on (customize) bikes more than ride them. He's had it out twice a year since he bought it, it has 600 Miles on it, and after every weekend out, he removed all plastics and detailed it back to better than new. Head pipe, exhaust, FCH Pumper Carb, DRZ Gel Seat, Tail Chop, Hand Guards, LED Blinkers and tail light, Trail tires and sprockets (but comes with all originals, less than 200 miles on them), etc.

Thinking about making the trade Thursday the 17th or Sunday the 20th.
