I posted here so you (all) would stick your snout in. And those ^^^^^ are all legit issues. I just didn't get the over-complicated one.

My original suggestion will not look factory, at all. But it runs off low enough power that we don't need to rewind the stator, and it was under $40 total.

This one isn't the cheapest out there, but it takes a standard H4 bulb. The less expensive units took an odd 35 watt bulb, which I'm not sure if there is a LED cross-over.
