on behalf of FatherX I went to Circleville today to have a look at that TT350. Now that Michael has officially passed on this bike, I present my report for anyone else who might be interested:
first off, its a kick start only...no magic button. its in pretty good condition, considering its age, but by no means is it pristine. I got there 20 minutes early and he had NOT started it yet. was in his garage parked next to a harley. he rolled it outside, pulled the choke out and had it running in half a dozen kicks. once it warmed up a bit, it idled well and sounds good. has a supertrapp muffler thats set up to be nice and quiet. he let me ride it around the yard a bit...smooth power delivery, at least in first and second...not enough room to get into 3rd gear. shifted well...no issues finding neutral. seat is VERY comfortable for a stocker...wish my Honda was as cushy. bike has headlight and tail lights that work off a push/pull switch, another nice feature I wish my Honda had. took some pics: as you can see in the pics, there's some minor damage to the plastics. its got a skimpy little skid plate that's better than nothing, I guess, but not by much. the kickstand seems to be bent or something and the bike leans WAY over when on it...thats why he put the 2x4 under it to make it stand more upright for the pics. overall, it seems like a very solid bike, but I think he's asking too much for it at $1000. I gave $1750 for my XR250R which is an 02 model...this bike is 15 years older than mine and not in as nice a condition as mine was. I could see his price if the bike was showroom clean, but its not. I think most I'd give for it would be maybe $750, depending on what the KBB value is. I have the guy's phone number if anyone is interested in contacting him.

Snowing here, (Salt Fork,) for about 2 hours, has been sticking to gravel, now sticking to pavement.
