Wow! has it really been a month and a half since I posted in this thread? Been limiting my time on the computer since I joined the "I'm a Quitter Club" in regards to smoking 5 weeks ago. Wish I could say I finally have a proper D/S in the stable, but no such luck yet and the tax man will assure I don't for at least another few months. That's the one downside of being self-employed - tax season doesn't bring a bonus check anymore and I'm always having to pay in a good chunk of money.

I think it's time I draft an official letter of cessation for my little piece of property and send it out to the city, state and Fed to declare my independence.

Just got home from Hidden Spring Ranch. Now it's time to wash the bike. 48 degrees out now. I'll have to get the street bike out and go for a ride now.

I'm back too. I stopped at a car wash to make the bike street legal, fueled up the tank ($5 for 100 miles) and then hit some local stuff on the way home. Now to start working on some video.

On a side note I felt like a rock star coming home thru downtown Springfield. I got at least 3 thumbs up and one fist pump out the window from the passenger side of a pickup. :)

Are you riding a moped to go 100 miles for $5 or are you getting dirt cheap gas prices?

I just now got through washing the bike...that was the stickiest mud I've even seen. I started out washing the bike at home but soon gave up on that and took it to the car-wash. It took 25 minutes there! I'm hosing down the bike with PAM before my next ride there!

I filled mine up too...I put in about half gallon but I trailered mine there and back...

Gas was $3.42 and it only took 1.6 gallons to fill it up. Of course it may not be totally accurate since the speedo cable broke on the way home. Back to GPS I guess.

I just found out that I recorded everything today in WVGA mode... Well I guess I won't have to worry about filling up my hard drive.

WVGA? West Virginia Grade aperture?

Maybe the switch flipped while your bike was chasing you down that uphill. . .

Had a great time town at the ranch. Like to have stayed longer, but it really started to turn to slop after 1pm. That was a peculiar compound of mud - hard to wash off. Is that place next to a hog farm?

Nice little place to ride - a great place for a rookie, especially for bikes under 500 lb. A good variety of ups and downs, turns, trees and a little water (or ice). A little pig sh*t.

It was nice to meet Nunzio, Zach, Buildit, et al. Too bad more guys didn't make it. I would be great to put a bigger group together later this Spring. Maybe some beverages afterwords for us trailer trash.

Anyone else get some weird GPS directions heading out? I did.

Maybe I'll get a chance to ride with you guys again - Bob

Good to meet some new faces also. Since I'm local I hope to make it a hot spot when the weather gets better. I even talked to Kim about letting us use it as part of the Tour De Flatsville with the RR bed.
