Oh, I'm liking this idea! I'm in!
I haven't seen you in forever, this will be fun!

Anyone else interested in a ride to Toledo for some dogs?

So what are the riding plans for this weekend? Tar Hollow one day and off road the other? Crow Canyon trail riding is not available this Sat/Sun. Hidden Spring is only open Sat. :(

MOTOCROSS!!

It's not that I'm excited or anything, it's just my bike needs a little airing out from being out in the cold damp woods all winter.

I did recently have someone blow the cobwebs out for me...

The bike has an RC4 motor but had a RFS rider

And no, she didn't crash it or run me over with it

And can I take a lap on the 250 after awhile??? please!!???? If I'm leaning far enough, I should be able to get a foot down.

And keep in mind Lisa and I are doing a hot dog run to Toledo on Saturday....I think? Lisa, you there?

I'm open for riding Saturday and/or Sunday. If there's an impromptu group meeting for a pavement/gravel roads ride starting somwhere between "north of Cinci" and "west/south of Columbus", I'm interested in joining with my v-strom. :-)

Some video from yesterday. A little bit for everyone, there's ride commentary, a new song I made, dirt road footage and even me singing. You ever get a song stuck in your head while riding? Frampton road, dear God help us all!

So bikes in the shop now; still under warranty. They'll let me know what they find Friday.

Options:
Hope for good news Friday?! (only good news would be they couldn't find the metal source. )
or
Order the Ims Tank for the Yamaha, and drastically chang the route to small roads, dirt/gravel if possible, and skip new Orleans and key west.

Whichever bike goes is going to need a new back tire prior.

Sonofabitch

That sucks Mike. How many miles do you have on that Uly by now? Had you noticed anything weird (noise, vibration, shifting effort) lately or was it just a complete surprise?
