A good friend is working on this, and the nearby title people were helpful, but they couldn't dig up the form.

Ah, cool. Well, it looked like a nice bike. I'm sure it will do nicely for you.

Thanks. I'm digging it.

I dropped the triples 20mm on the forks and unsprung the rear shock (it was maxed out) , that brought the seat height down about an inch and softened it a bit. Also rotated the levers down from 1 o'clock to about 4 o' clock so I don't get carpel tunnel . Cleaned the armor all off of the tires and other parts, and lubed the chain.

T took good care of the DR and it seems to be a solid ride. I'm STOKED!

Ok, so for riding this weekend...I'm leaning towards doing the Danville ride on Sat unless Buildit decides to give a guided tour of TH. ;) Maybe TH on Sun?

I`ve found that if you can jump and land a fork truck, you can jump and land a KLR.

Note to self: practice with a fork truck.

Let us wait for a Klinger dog until the ship museum opens and then do both...

I can not leave until about 11 on Saturday, but would be happy to meet you at a lunch stop and do a big bike road ride.

He got banned for something else shortly after the last ride and Meef's verbal judo toward him about not attempting any actual riding.

Is this the same DR 650 that he had in Danville last time? I thought it was unpossible to follow the roads down there with it.....

Thinking about it.........are you going to stick to the gravel roads or will there be a mix of mud and river crossings thrown in?

From a conversation we had yesterday - it will be a typical Danville ride, which will involve roads like TR 28, Turkey Ridge, Stone Quarry and Bat's Nest, trails, logs, mud, creeks, rocks, high speeds, wayward bovines, adrenaline, perspiration, fear, evidentiary photographs, moonshiners, meth cooks, improvised femur splints, and the possibility of a trailside blood transfusion.

Are you a universal donor?
