Don't hear much from HC anymore. Every time we talk he just says' he's really busy at the shop but doing okay. Last I knew he would post every few days in CSM.

Making it street legal? We're riding Thursday, but it's all dual-sport stuff.

Oh yeah...

Matt, Thursday... Danville ride... I can meet at your place, or Danville, or anywhere inbetween.

Early is fine, just remember I'm an hour to an hour and a half away.

Let me know!

Yup... hoping to have the kit to add the signals, brake light, etc... by first of the week. Anyone have a recommendation for a small rack to go over the rear fender ('09 WR250F)?

Big Muskie ride

I have been wanting to check out the big bucket for a couple years and I was real close a few times but never made it. So after getting off work at 10:30 this morning I figured it was a good day for a ride. The ride down was great the ride home was WET. I wanted to ride up in the bucket but the grounds crew was there working.

We can meet at my place, and fuel in Mt Vernon, there are some fun roads in between and it's about 30 min out to Nellie from there.

Alan, you able to make it out in the afternoon? We'll ride the southern stuff first if so.

Maybe we should do a Saturday ride? Big bike road only so I can bring the dl1000 with it's new front road only tire. Meet up at IP around 10am and leave by 11am?

Run 33 to 180 to 664 to 56 to 278 to 78 to big musky. Lunch in Nelsonville. Depending on time we can decide what to ride after Musky. Maybe some 555?

Nice pic, Alan. That's my favorite place to stop and get off the bike for a bit when riding nearby. During the summer, there seem to always be people camped out keeping watch over the place.

It barely fit up the sidewalk, but years ago before we sold it, we got mrs. dox's MINI in front of it for a quick photo. The folks working there were not amused

If the claws were the right width for the tires, I'd love to back my jeep up into it sometime when nobody was around...

Like I said, we'll decide depending on when we get to the bucket. Some enduros may desire a route back thru Monday Creek. With the new over sized front tire and 1/2 clearance to the fender the Strom is now dedicated road only. Otherwise I'll ride the KLR and wear the last of the tires off.

That video was the easy one to edit so I published it first. ;) I'm still working on one with all the stars caught on camera.
