Oh, and I thought you'd have my back when it comes to making these videos...but no response from you even. Guess you don't watch them either!
I watched and if I'd had a funny comment or point to make above what was said I would. But since you had the floor and I was busy figuring out some wood working projects, couldn't use all the wood for log crossings, it didn't seem my input was desired or necessary.
But if you desire feed back I'm more than capable of playing Luke at the Movies.

Feedback.
- I found the video slide show interesting but with no captions about where you were it was just a bunch on family photos with mountains.
-Most of the video I post here is of local rides with other members, your video seems relevant only because a number of people are expressing interest in Alaska trips this year. I would address those videos to them as interesting places along the way they should see and why.
-For general videos you'll get a larger audience if you start a thread in Trips just for your trips outside Ohio area. People world wide will be able to find them. You can then provide a link to that thread here so people who never wander outside central can find it.
-As stated, I totally understand the people who are on slow or dial up service getting annoyed. That was me for a number of years as there was no cable or DSL internet here. So posting up for each video as it was made probably felt like watching grass grow. At first I was trying to just be funny, but I got the message and remembered how frustrating it was so I stopped.
-As some fellow Utube video producers I've talked with have said get in front of the camera and talk to us. Tell us why this is interesting and what you think. I'm still working on improving that level of engagement in my videos but it takes time for proper camera set up, willing participants, good sound quality and topic material for a target audience.

Okay, I'm done for now. Back to my frozen garage to play with my wood.

I watch a few minutes of a lot of them from You , Luke , Sion or anyone else. May not always be what I'm into, but I'm sure there are others who enjoy them. The ones that are really a slideshow of still photos make me dizzy so I don't watch those for long. But it certainly doesn't bother me at all that they are on here. I agree that using links instead of embedded so they don't slow down the page loading is probably a good idea. I say if you enjoy making them and posting them keep doing it.

We made this week's ADV dinner the same location. Great suggestion by Jim.

The video was really popular with my ST riding friends but most know what's going on and where the pics were being taken.
Making quality and popular videos is an art, I however am no artist. So I try many different things and see what works best. As motorcycle videographers we are subject to the material we catch as much as we are our ability to present and edit it.

No problem, hope that tire does better than the one before. Also look forward to the start of a trip report somewhere.

Using big words makes my degrees all worth while, don't you think?

And now a classic oil change video. Halfthrottle does some funny stuff.

Bowing out.

I'll see how I feel, I'm jonesing for some riding and I've got Tuesday free but I'm still nursing a pinched nerve in my neck...last time in the saddle it made my arms go numb.

I'm gonna ride a little tomorrow to see how I feel, if I'm able I'll post up.[/QUOTE]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tuesday looks windy, as in 20-30mph. I'd almost rather ride in rain than wind so I'm begging off for Tuesday's ride. If I had pinched nerve in my neck I probably wouldn't want my head jerked around in some gusty wind. You can call me PussBoy but I've noticed another local inmate has taken on that moniker.

FF - I saw a bike in the Flea Mkt. yesterday with a very large decal acronym: FYYFF.
FF - I'll probably see it everywhere now. A wonderful economy with words! He also re-posted the bike very soon afterword with the decal removed. Dumb Puke!

Let me know when you're ready to go on the road and thanx for the reply.

Sorry anyone starting his video off with "What's up my people" is already on my dislike list.

Yeah, I guess I should target the teen crowd with my videos.

I only tweet on the KLR.
