Howdy boys. .

OK, so the blame o grams some of you are generating lately are becoming a bit of a PITA.

Time for the biennial "knock off the knucklehead crap" warning.

Remember, this is regionals, not JoMomma. Take a read through the rules please if you haven't lately, m'kay? And then take the stuff that should be in JoMomma to JoMomma, and avoid the stuff that is not acceptable anywhere on ADV.

Wielding the ban hammer is really a PITA. Too much paperwork. But, that's where it seems this is headed based on recent events. It would be nice to avoid that.

Thx

Dave

And I wont even attempt to go toe to toe with you mature guys. My pops taught me that old isnt weak, and having been around the block teaches a man a thing or two. I recall hearing you ran some bars and have some experience that will overcome young eagerness.

Whoops... Thought about you - was missing my GSA the other day! Love the Super Tenere but doesn't have the same cache when people ask what you ride. Especially when sipping the latte at Starbucks.

If I can stay home long enough, am planning a long weekend down the BRP... on the bike.

Great video metaphor especially since videos are what started this whole mess.

Yes, and I fudged it up and had to go back and get thinner ones, my math evidently sucks as bad as my ability to do things right the 1st time.

The oil change is no big deal. I only check the tank screen every 3 changes so that eliminates a lot of time. Make an aluminum foil tray to divert oil from the tank to the pan.

The bike has 45k miles on it. To get to the valves is a long drawn out process that requires the removal of a lot of shit. I started mine up this evening, looks like I may be one tooth off on one of the cams so tomorrow I start taking things back apart. Luckily, I only hooked the carbs back up!

I would still do it again the next time even though I messed up somewhere.

And yes, I'd buy another one when this one finally bites the dust

Depends on what size bike you have, the shop has to has a certified Mechanic for the big V-twins or they can't service them. There is a place over near Columbiana some place that bought the old Dirt Works then Deckers franchise and Apex in New Philly. ALso one near the 271/480 interchange too some place

A smiley would make me laugh at that statement; but the lack there of leads me to believe it was not meant to be comedic?!
