Hey guys, not to take away from the Road Enduro... which is always a good time.....

But several of us aren't jumping up and down about rolling out at 7am Sunday morning, so I think we're going to do our own ride. It'll be a 'big bike ride', or more simply, an easy backroad/some dryish gravel/dirt ride. GCMK and George are on street tired dual-sports. I'll most likely be riding the tenere. Most likely meeting for Breakfast in Columbus around 9am (location TBD), and then we can make another meeting point up near Mohican or Danville if there's interest in that general direction. We'll need to stop for gas anyway.

Post up if there's more interest!

I was just out at Crow Canyon, Uhrichsville.

They have a nice looking 1998 or 1999 (mfg 9/98) Suzuki DR350S for sale. E start only (no kicker). The guy said it every so often won't start, they suspect some issue in the neutral switch / neutral light circuit. The factory taillight is also gone, replaced with a LED job that looks ok but not great. Signals are aftermarket. Chain and front tire look worn. Front brake lever is broken. Aftermarket mirrors. Rear tire looks new (50/50 tire). All else looks clean and unmolested. Non-OEM exhaust. 6500+/- miles.

$1000 plus whatever actual costs are to repair the gremlin (no inflated labor charges). In my experience Jeff and crew are honest and competent. He said he doesn't think they will have much wrapped up in finding the problem.

Probably a bit tall / heavy for you, but for someone of normal inseam it'd be a nice bike.

I've got a Dr350 in the garage that'll fit you.

Of course muddyrabbit ran off with the wheels, so really it sits too low now.

No, at this point it's my realizing this is going to get expensive.
So I drained the tank and cut some SS pipe to size. Then with two jacks laid the bike down and placed the pipe around the bolt on a piece of wood.

The pipe simply dug into the wood so jack the bike back up and placed the pipe on the concrete with the bike on top.

Smacked the living piss out of it for all I could. Nothing.
I've ground the bolt down several times to keep it from mushrooming out but a couple bad swings have dented the frame.

Only two things left people have suggested are drill it out or shatter it with dry ice or liquid nitrogen.
I'm taking a break for a bit before I get pissed and do something stupid.
