Where was the landslide?

I got out and rode today. Few hundred miles and was submerged up to the tank at one point, biffed once, several OH SHIT moments, and the bike has been detailed and is back in the garage. I even used a tooth brush in some places to inspect and make sure I didnt snap the freaken frame anywhere. lol

I got my bike put back together yesterday.
Today, i pushed it outside, put some gas in it and attempted to start it. It started no problem, but won't idle(carbs still need work). Then, it started pissing gas everywhere.
When I put the new(old) gas tank on, I tore the line for the overflow feed.
Half an hour later, had it back together fixed. I sat in the driveway blipping the throttle to keep it running for fifteen minutes or so. Still won't idle without help, but I'm betting it's close enough to be able to ride and see if it clears up within a few miles. I'll stop at the dmv and see about renewing the tags on it. We'll see how much of a hassle it's going to be since it hasn't been tagged in five years.
Any luck, and I'll get some miles in on it next weekend. And then the following, I get to go pick up my new(er) bike!

No proplem, you've been on all the stuff around TH a thousand times. Besides we got stuck behind a Harley and two tourers. They were actually moving okay but the Harley was giving me a head ache. Kept wanting to start calling him "fag". Darn South Park.

Sucky kind of wreck, in one way, the only stuff covered with my insurance is OEM gear and the total for all of it is right about where my deductible is. The real damage was all the aftermarket crap. Oh well, I didn't want to go on vacation anyway.

Double check with your ins. co. Mine has a $1000 coverage on extras at no extra charge. Yours might too. Hope so. Glad your OK.
