I have 3 bicycles (gave away my 24" DK Fury BMX bike a year or so ago)

I pretty much hate road bicyclists....I know I should not generalize, but the vast majority of them seem to have the same mindset mob mentality.

The biggest problem I have with them is they treat laws that have them interacting with traffic as a suggestion, but epect the laws of how traffic interact with them as rigid law.

BTW, I need to clean out the garage. I bought a bike on here and I will give someone the exact same deal. Old early 1970s Columbia Tandem. blue/white. All there, needs some TLC and tires and tubes. At some point the top tube was welded (repaired) where it meets the seat tube. I bought it off here. The guy started out wanting a couple of hundered for it, but we settled on $75. I will NOT SHIP IT. I planned to fix it up to ride with a lady friend. No time to ride & no lady friend means this thing is taking up way too much room. $75

You seem to be happier also even without the toys. Glad to see you posting up Glen!

I see the same thing constantly and it drives me nuts. And it's not all of them, and it's just the bad ones that stand out, and it's over-generalization, and all that other BS. But yeah... they pass all the traffic stopped at a red light, look both ways and run the red light... then get pissed when the light turns green and traffic starts moving and everyone's passing them 'in their lane'. Eff you.

And DAMMIT I tried to stay out of this bicycle BS.

FAIL.

I have work to do today, I can't be trying to catch up on 5 pages in 2 hours again!

Subject change: Trail Riding
Dirt on Saturday is Southington Off Road Park.
I've never been. Meeting MuddyRabbit and the other unusual suspects up there. Only open to dirt bikes once a month.

http://www.southingtonoffroad.com/

Hope to see others but it sounds like a lot are going to Perry.

Hells yeah! I'd say "just don't run me over" but I'm usually the one running over people* so I won't.

I actually just saw there is camping - I might try to go up Friday night. Sleep in a little Saturday morning, ride all day, sounds fantabulous.

* People = MGorman. I think there have only been 4 rides when I didn't hit or run him over. I'm blaming poor katoom placement.
