Her first name certainly sounds non-Caucasian.

He traded his ST1300 for it about a week or two ago. I really like it too especially that green paint. It looks really sweet. ;)

CLE area dudes

Being from NE Ohio, we don't have so many twistys around as I would like. My main day rides are either the metro parks or along route 2 going west along the lake shore. Not a bad second best if you ask me!

Welcome to the asylum Bill. Keep an eye on the NEOhio ADV thread in this same regional forum for group comiseration on all the straight roads and squared off tires. We have some get togethers now and then and there is a game of tag going on there... I heard something about a Geauga Power Sports Taco Run this wknd.

There are some roads with good turns and higher speed limits. I'm assuming you are on the west side someplace given the use of 2 and the parkway. What do you ride?

I'm on this beast much of the summer (only a couple more days of carting kids to school and the cage can get parked more often)

feel free to flag me down if we cross paths

as for twisties...

Oh! Uh... if any of you get the grand idea to ride up that creek in Circleville... you know the one, parallel to 56 on the west side of town (but hidden by trees)... it has that perfect farmers ramp down into it, and a nice grass ramp back out about a mile further west... yeah that one... well... it's only nice and rocky for the first 50 feet or so.... then it turns to freaking quicksand... you will sink to your axles... and you will have to drag your bike back to the solid ground to make your escape back out the farmers ramp.

Pfff. Been there... found this:

(Sign Reads: Hazardous Waste Site)
Off 23, at the Scioto, just north of Circleville.

Hmmmm, maybe that's why Rob was arrested for being back there. But I think he was inside 270.

Thanks Jim! Really enjoying the Versys so far. Its a blast in the twisties and not near the workout the ST was. Although the ST was nicer for the interstate part of the ride, the Versys was more enjoyable on the rest of it.
