I have a cushion you could use if you don't get one in time...

I was just making sure the hitch would work and that the wiring was ok. ;)

I'm going to HF to get a ramp today so I can put it in the back.

I'm not a SABMAG rider, but an honorary member as I rode VFR's for over 250,000 miles with many of the maggots. I'm heading down there later this evening after I get out of work. Then on to WV and VA for my Sun/Mon weekend.

Later,

Where is everyone hanging out in Marietta?

Sorry for this delayed response...

Clear Fork was great! The trails were a bit easier than Perry (and far easier to navigate), but harder than Richland Furnace. Enough small jumps in the trails to be fun, but not so many that it gets annoying. One big creak to play around in. A couple short but steep hill climbs. A big MX track (that doesn't appear well planned out), a small MX track, plus a little mirror track for some side by side races (Alan and I had a photo finish). Several obstacles for those better than I to play on (a huge pile of rocks, and another of logs), and a mud pit.

It's unfortunate that it's as small as it is. I don't think a season pass is worth it, but I'd love to get back there another time or two. $5 for a day pass is well worth it I think.

Pictures!

Alan's son had no problem showing us up.

Alan made an action series for your entertainment:

And one more series... This one may have been a bit of my fault. I may have utilized a little peer pressure to convince them he should ride through the mud pit. Heh. Sorry guys.

I've had good luck with dealers having a selection of jets. Hell, when I think of it I don't think I've gone into a dealer with a service department that didn't have a selection (although not always the precise one I needed).

Mid Ohio, the Yamaha place out on 40, Hinderer, Honda NW, they've all had them when I've asked.

No pictures trying to ride over the Ford Escort? The log pile and rock pile are fun practice.

The place is perfect for the aspiring big bike rider. Except for one ditch, the place is totally V-Stromable. Did a little of it 2 up on the 640 to have a snack on top at the picnic table.

Thanks, I thought it was pretty nice too especially since it was only $2,000.

Saw this 1st hand today on the way ( long way ) to the Iron Pony. I was going south on St. Rt. 79 and saw a group of bikes sitting on Rt. 541 south so I turned around to see who it was but they were already gone. I headed south on 541 and when I came around a corner there was a guy off the road picking his bike up. Some of the other guys also stoped. I ask if he was ok ( he was ) so I continued on my way. Outside of Coshocton I saw another bike with a Ohio Riders sticker on it. Checked the Ohio Riders fourm when I got home and sure enough they had a ride in that area today. Hope things went better at the Dragon.

So it is advisable not to go on OR group rides because of all the squids?

Honda NW didn't seem to have anything when I stopped in there. Guess I talked to the wrong dude.

Beechmont did have what I needed. Thx for the pointer.

Shit, sell the trailer and put a lowering kit on that bad boy with some low profile tires and you won't even need a ramp. Just pop on up into the bed. Then maybe some chrome stacks and it would be almost a mini choo-choo express or whatever those 80's (or 70's) Dodge's were called...
