sorry this is a pretty late post....I posted up about 2 months ago that I'd be out for the weekend for my 25th high school reunion in New Concord, Ohio. Well, it was quite an "Adventure in Ohio." Crazy weekend. I didn't remember anyone from sight but they all said I still look exactly the same. They told me stories about myself that I definitely don't remember. John (Jailor8, here) and I have been driving around. As we drove I began seeing and remembering things I didn't know I knew. I'm very glad I came out. I think I needed this trip to remind me of my past experiences, choices I made as a young lady, and old routines that have formed me into the woman I am today.

I'm so thankful for my friend helping me have this weekend. He's a great guy and if any of you'ins get the chance to ride with him, you'll have made a wonderful friend.

I will fly out tomorrow at 7pm. Late notice, but we'll be having lunch at Tlaquepaque's on Maple Avenue in Zanesville if any local folks want to meet up with us. We may be eating somewhere around noon. We are meeting a new lady ADVrider and she'll be making off with a few of my gently used, but still in great shape, pieces of gear. After lunch, I'll be on my way back to my beloved mountains and green chile in New Mexico. But I'll be back in another year to hopefully ride some of these hills, see a few family still in the Cleveland area, and get to Indiana to my college alma mater and to see some of my 'ole girlfriends.

Can't make it unfortunately, but that's my favorite messican place. Try the fajita-chimichanga....awesome.

It's labeled as such but totally passable. At least it was, haven't ridden it since the storms.

Can anyone use some trailer wheels and tires? I have a set of 14" wheels, 5 on 4.5 pattern with mis matched tires that all hold air and go around. Came off the camper frame I used to build a mow trailer. Free for the taking

I also have a set of 4 Kelsey Hayes 14" ford wheels that are all correct date coded for 1965 if someone can use them before I ditch them.

Also, if anyone needs a bike trailer, I just picked up a few extra axles and am going to go dig through the scrap pile at the local steel yard, should be able to put together some 2 or 3 place trailers pretty cheap.

Might be interested in these. Have to measure my trailer's bolt pattern - I'm sure it's a 5-lug but not sure the spread. I have an old frame I was given, good axles and frame but the wheels & tires are the suck.

I've been meaning to build a 3-rail.

98% of the 5 lug trailers I have seen are 5 on 4.5. Measure the center hole too, as that seems to be the most common reason they won't interchange. These have a sorta small (for a trailer) center hole. It seems like I tried to put them on my mustang as rollers and they wouldn't clear the late model calipers. or hub.

The trailer is an older home-spun deal, wheels might be non standard, well see.

Well, how about a ride report? Been meaning to get over there but a little far for a day trip. May have to go back to PA for a visit, then swing on up if it is worth it.
