Cool Jim, good luck. Not my cup of tea and I'm not a Kaw man but I can respect that as one hell of a bike.

You ever get a 250 class D/S?

No I didn't, and given how my lower back has been giving me fits the last 6 months or so it's probably a good thing that I didn't. Starting to pay for all that stupid stuff I did when I was younger now that I'm approaching 40.

I know it's a long shot, but anyone interested in some Dual-Sporting around Tar Hallow this afternoon? I'm off at 3pm, going to run home and change clothes/bikes, and head out. It'll be hot... and awesome.

I must reluctantly agree that it did look like a great time.

I guess I should write up a trip report...I was hoping Landon would do it so I wouldn't have to...lol

I think there were 8 of us and our base of operations was Lake City. We usually would start the day by going over Engineers pass down to Animas Forks and from there we went to Silverton one day and Ouray the next..oh and Telluride...

We planned on going to Creede one day but Landon lost his clutch on a side of a mountain about 2 miles up. :(

We found some single track to explore the couple of other days. It was an awesome trip! I've seen enough rocks for a lifetime though. You can't beat the scenery though!

I think I'll make a crash/tip over compilation video of the trip. That should be a big hit. lol

Where did you find the single track? Not much around there (I've ridden what little there is). Nice pictures BTW!

Trail 822 was single track off of Lost Creek Trail. Also we rode part of the Colorado trail/La Garita Stock Trail over to Miners Creek. Hikers/Forest service gave us crap for doing it though. The sign posted said no motorized traffic but the maps we had said otherwise plus people on here were talking about riding it....
