It was a dual-sport kinda afternoon over at OSU!

Where Alan is much enjoying his new roommate (whom is not in agonizing pain and making sure the world knew it like the last one, and is actually sleeping at night.) He'll be headed home tomorrow afternoon.

The last time I parked next to this thing:

The size difference was huge in person, didn't show up as well in the picture though. I found it comical that we were both 1200cc's.

This is the first one to go missing for me. Kinda happily surprised to see that the outer plate, which does have to be pressed on, stayed in place w/o the clip. Considering that I do not know what happened, although I suspect that the same rocks that damaged the chain were involved, I'll at least be purchasing a new master link ... clip or rivet to be decided.

I guess you could but you better have one heck of a HD rivet tool. I have been having enough problems spreading the rivet style links with a tool, but that may be somewhat impacted by a lack of dexterity with my sausage fingers along with the piss poor directions that came with it.

Slammers broke in the Yukon, I double wired the clip and by anchorage the wires were gone.

Been riveting my Transalp and 950a

Doubt it but you can assemble a rivet with a small ball bearing, 10 pound sledge and a small ballpean in an emergency. ( done it )

A ball joint press works also but the pro motion tool rocks.

Hey Tim

I recycled the strom racks, basicly I just cut off the bottom footpeg mounts and bent new ones out of an old camp chair leg, then used a hunk of lawnmower blade across the top to tie the two sides together. A bunch of goober-assed bubblegum mig welds & grinding, & flat black rattlecan later, viola! a quota luggage rack. the bicycle rack is a deftly carved chunk of 2x4 & a few rokstraps.

On an unrelated (or quite possibily very related) note, I love Bulleit Rye Whiskey.

Very cool There's still a wrench laying around here wrapped in masking tape that says "dox". Too lazy to remove it Hope you haven't had any more exhaust malfunctions since then.

Related to your unrelated note: New Amsterdam Gin is good stuff

You must be hunting for the 190 proof version, which I think is not legal for sale in Ohio. We can still get the 151 proof Everclear here though, right?

the 151 proof version is legal in Ohio, but I have never seen it in a liquor store. I get my 190 proof from a friend in the ANG, the BX at Mansfield Lahm has it.
