Straight behind your bike in the vacant lot was I believe the gas station where he worked. The cannon got concreted after someone shot pool balls out of it at the station so the story goes.

The NEO tag was of a church they attended after they moved to Pattersonville.

I miss living out there.
Didn't realize I was passing through all these ADV stomping grounds on my way to Malvern from Akron. I usually cut over to Robertsville Ave. from Autumn Ave. at Route 172 though.

I'm going to head through town tonight, and cut over on Stuckey St. to see if I recognize any of the stuff in the pictures. It's always better when you know some of the history.

Head into paris and take Paris ave s from town. Right by the cannon is where we were. Its pretty twisty. Stay straight past 30 for some more curves,it passes through Oneida and comes out about 2 miles east from the 43/183 split by colfor. I
Think its called blade rd. If you head east from Malvern, its the first left after the tracks past colfor.

Thanks for the location. The road is Blade, I turn right after the cemetery past Colfor when I'm headed back to Akron. I've taken that a few times since they tarred and stoned Avalon Rd. this summer. I usually cut over on Stuckey St. to get back to Roberstville Ave. though. I never had a reason to head through Paris.

Just n of 172 Paris swings left for a short stint of gravel and heads over to autumn and comes out by the curve. If you ignore the left turn of Paris you can take beechwood with some more fun turns up to Georgetown rd. Just over Georgetown is the freshly tarred and traveled section leading to 153. Only a couple curves there. That area is pretty easy to navigate as most roads run fairly n/s or e/w.

Had some KLR creek fun today...

I had fun right up to the point where I got run off by a couple of gun toting hunters that told me to leave or they would call the Meefs! I said sorry and quickly left without asking to many questions...

You should have argued with them and called them stupid, they'll never respect you if you don't show them you are the Alpha of the group!

Well you know where that got me on here with Meef and his gang of thugs...

I was under the impression that rivers and streams were public right of ways until I got home and googled it.

Yep, was planning to do some fishing this year and looked that up this year myself. Unlike most states, Ohio considers the bottom to be owned by landowner so unless you are floating you could be in trouble with the Meef again...

A creek that runs along 202 out of Troy. I think it's called Lost Creek.

SE corner of Beechwood & 153, Freeburg, that's where my Pops was born

btw, MX153 is 1/4 mile east of there on the former farm of my buddies grandparents. I'll be in Freeburg the evening of the 16th for a family reunion at the church pavilion just north of town. Stop by and say hi, they'll know who you're friends with when they see the bikes.

At the bottom of the Hill on Paris ave there is a curve to the right and a dirt road off to the left. The dirt road is the original Paris Ave and will take you to Paris and past Danny's old house (A rider GCMK and a few others rode with). The continuation of that road to the right is Autumn to 172.

Danny and I have been riding on and off together since the mid 70's

This is from the other direction

Never knew Robertsville had a school. Thought you folks bussed over to osnaburg local in the area.
Same house. The school was on the SE corner of town, was across the tracks from the feed mill. The only thing I believe still there are the poles and lights.

Paris Twp is Minerva LSD, Osnaburg Twp (East Canton) is Osnaburg LSD
