Internetless

Man, I was internet-less for 2 days and frikin' 10 pages!

Mark, so glad you're ok, that's just madness!!

I was about to post how I just killed my first scorpion (crawled out of my luggage that United lost) I'd have gotten a pic of the nasty thing but I was too afraid I'd lose sight of him and didn't need him loose in my truck. I wanted his ass good and dead.

Hope to see some of you saturday night.

If I'm just doing a quick conversion from GMaps to Mapsource/Basecamp, I use this:

Pass, heading to the desert in March so I'm saving up. If you find one of the Canadian 4 valve Honda 250 trials bikes, may change my mind.

Hate those things. After a couple of hunting trips to Texas and Mexico I still shake out my shoes before putting them on!

Caution

Anyone going down 555 this sunday beware of slow moving traffic.
If all goes well it will be me.

Mark, like everyone else here, I'm glad you are all right. It's quite amazing you made it out of there unscathed.

The upside, however, is you can get rid of that "chic" car!

Hey Guys and Gals....I'm a little late to this thread (over 4 million views?!?!?!?)

I've been an ADV member a while, and post some, but never realized that this regional thread exitsted.

I live in the Akron area and ride a lot. Let's leave it at that for now. My current bike is a 2003 SV650 that has just over 128,000 miles on her now. She's taken me all over the country several times over.

I have occasinally seen an ADV sticker on a bike while tooling around S Ohio and knew there were others.

If anyone is ever looking to ride, let me know. I have a LOT of routes saved from over the years, but also have a good nose for successful explorations.

Anyways...great to see this thread. Hope to see some of you on the road (or off)
