Last time I was there with you a DR650 ( not mine ) was under water and the locals were not to happy with us being there. GOOD TIMES. I drove over that bridge in August and it looked like the creek was dry. I was wishing I was on the WR. so I could check it out again.

What are you thinking: DS or adventure bike? Close to you or SE Ohio?
Depends on who want's to bring what and where, I think i would prefer adventure bike because I'm having so much fun on the 650 lately, but if the WRR guys want to play, I'm fine with riding the 250.. I would like to expand my horizons a bit from riding up here so much, so SE ohio could be fun

Yeah, the recycling place changed hands, and installed a big fence so you can drop down into the creek now without being noticed....so it's fairly easy to play around in there.

Sounds like your adventure bike is my DS bike.

I know some good trails (abandoned roads) to ride in the Tar Hollow area but there are many more I’ve never been on that I’d like to explore. Just need some other folks to ride with me down there in case is get stuck or crash. Anywhere the collective wants to ride is good with me though.

I can lead us on a hell of a fun ride down SE, but it would be a little bike ride. (Thursday, Tar Hallow Area)

But I'd like to do a Danville little bike ride sometime too, it's been forever since I've played up there.

And, I'm always up for a big bike ride too if that's what the collective wants. I have a hard time remembering which dirt roads are big bike friendly, down there, but I know a few for sure, then we can just play around the vicinity on pavement. If it stays dry, we could even go down to Richland Furnace for a short bit, which are mostly big wide big-bikable trails.

In other news, I figured out it's the Baby Burr that's going to be attacking my regular trails/roads this weekend (not that they're mine). I guess I just assumed that was out by Burr Oak, as opposed to Tar Hollow. 200 miles down there would be one hell of a good ride! My usual ride is about 60 miles of off road (and connectors), along with the 110 or so miles there and back.
I'll be riding the Baby Burr both days. I'll let you know how it turns out with this rain we are now getting. Should be fun! I just sharpened my knobs on my mud tire. ;)

so, today was that wonderful day that comes but once a year...the day that you get to go to the BMV and pay exorbitant amounts of money for every vehicle that you own. so I dutifully went and shelled out a grand total of $324 for 1 truck, 2 cars and 3 motorcycles...and had this conversation:

BMV lady: wow, you have three motorcycles?

me: yep, 4 if you count my daughters dirtbike

BMV lady: well I think you have too many motorcycles

me: you can NEVER have too many motorcycles!
