I'm trying to make it for the Turkey Run / Demo, but it is a week earlier than it used to be and it might not fly with my son's birthday on the 25th. As for Mark arresting you, that would be a funny video.

Matt, you still in??? Anyone else???
If I make it, awesome, but don't wait for me if I'm not there at 10. If I make it, I'm going to haul my bike down because I'm going to have to do some work in New Albany tomorrow. I've gotten slammed with winterization orders in the past 3 days.

November 15th I think? Something like that. I'll have to take a day off through the week this month and get some guys together for a Wayne run. It's funner through the week since the main corridor will be quad-free. The little side trail I'm wanting to hit is nearly forgotten about, even on the weekends supposedly there's never anyone there so that's my goal.

I'm bailing out on the trip down to the Smoky's. I just don't feel like riding the 800# beaST and thinking about not being in the dirt the whole time...

So Mike, I'll join you guys tomorrow at Tar Hollow at 10am.

SwingSet, riding dirt Sunday sounds good too.

Now there is Friday and Saturday...Bob have you recovered from Baby Burr yet? ;)

The Baby Burr trails were just that good - I got home, rolled the Husky into the garage and stared at the BMW for a minute thinking about offing it for an enclosed trailer for the Husky. If I had trails like that up here, I wouldn't have the Beemer, that's for sure.

Didn't you just get that not too long ago? How come you want to part with it so soon? Not a good fit for you or something?

I can't decide which KTM enduro I want...since I have the WRR, I'm leaning towards a 2-stroke. I want to keep the WRR since I can ride it this winter (and at night with more lights) with heated gear since it has the 350 watt Stator output...

If I ever get around to finishing it, I'll probobly actually ride it. It's sitting under a sheet in my garage right now...

I booked a room at the Best Western for Friday/Saturday nights. Maybe I should get the gopro wireless streaming app and save the video to an undisclosed location in case Meef decides to confiscate my camera and SD cards.

If riding long days, just change the oil every day, all 0.6L of it. I'm definitely not interested in that kind of schedule.
Only the 2008 to 2011 LC4 (450/530) motors with the separate crankcase and transmission oils hold that little oil. The older RFS motors (like the one in the classified mentioned here), the Husaberg 70 degree motors, and the new KTM 450/500's hold around 1.2 to 1.3L of oil. I used to own a KTM 450EXC (RFS motor) and now own a Husaberg FE570. You can safely go 20 hours between oil changes. If you are racing it for harescrambles/enduros, then yeah, 300 mile intervals sounds right, as that would be around 20 hours (assuming you average 15 mph). If using it for dual sporting, then you will find your average mph increases substantially. I end up changing mine around every 500-600 miles. Still not great, but it's easy and cheap, so who cares.

I think Craig nailed it with the oil changes being based off of actual use. Same with valve adjustments. After I start riding my RFS engined 450, I plan on starting at 20 hours, sending the oil off for testing, and then adjusting intervals from there..

Every 3 harescrambles for me, 2 if they were brutal on the clutch

Probably only tasered, especially if he just got off desk duty on a nice day

I'll be down for one day, thought about seeing if anyone wanted to camp over
