Were you with the crew pictured? The klx250s were out 3rd I think. I was out first with Kenny. I was riding a WRR with temp tags. It was my first time at any kind of a mc event. I rode up, did the enduro, and rode home. Ended up with about 10 hrs on the bike. Glad the seat fits pretty well.

Edit: Oops, don't see the klxs in that pic, but that is where they were parked.

Rode my Tiger with those three who trailered up from Ashville. So you didn't stay for dinner??

Finally made it back on the bike today and managed about 80 miles after spending the last two months fighting a pinched nerve in my neck and inflamed/pulled/sprained shoulder and arm. Lat and shoulder blade tightened up a little but doesn't feel too bad now. Hopefully will be back full strength in a few weeks.

Splitting the bike to lube the splines should be about the same as on mine, tedious and time consuming, but not all that hard. The rest should be pretty straight forward, but I don't have a tool to synch the throttle bodies.

Well disappointingly, they've got it about completely repaired. All the bad spots are smoothed over and waiting for pavement, and they are working on reinforcing another spot:

We hit Pike APV area while we were down there too. Not the best season for big bikes; it was slicker than hell, still fun though.

Oh, and 50 and sunny Thursday. Anyone up for something? Wayne maybe? Danville? Or a big bike ride?

The home-made manometers work really well, and are incredibly easy to build....just some tubing on either side of a yard stick with some 2-cycle oil in them. You can do a double or 4-tube, for $3 in materials. If there's just two to check on the K100, I have one already made on a nice backing board with a hanger you're welcome to.

They're more accurate than mercury, btw.
