I mean a few decades ago. . .

But I've heard the combined expression even before that. I guess it works both ways.

Rode the back way down to Cambridge today. A co-rider introduced me to Theo's Restaurant downtown on the South side main street today. A guitar shop is next door. Great menu and really reasonable prices - clean, roomy and some real talent handling the service.

In the neighborhood of state routes 658-209-622-83 - and Indian Camp. SR 658 is fun if you consider multiple 20mph turns coming down from over the speed limit fun. . . 11 miles long and that's it.

Now I have a destination for some good food to accompany that cold mutli-grain beverage.

Beats a steady diet of Slim Jims, a pickled egg and a sharp stick in the eye.

I grew up with the Coney Island. 2 Coney dogs and a piece of custard pie is my standard order. Same order for over 40 years. I'm making myself hungry. I also bought a trumpet from Pavlo's music store when I was in grade school. Thanks for taking me down memory lane

So, I took advantage of the nice weather to stain our house and go through a bunch of stuff I drug home from a house we cleaned out this week. In the middle of that, i needed to move the KTM out of the garage and decided to take it for a spin before I put it away...Amazingly, it started in like 5 kicks and after letting it warm up a bit, I zipped up the field and headed for the little woods trail I have.

After about 2 min, the clutch didn't feel right, so I wheeled back into the garage, shut if off and found this:

I'm not sure where the hell its coming from. It kinda looks like the kick starter seal went south, as it's all on that side of the engine. The rod isn't poking out of the block, and my pants weren't soaked with oil, so I'm confident it's fine....

I did, however, find this in a house this week, so I have that going for me...

No, all the gun shows I've been to are pretty crappy. Their stuff is invaluable and yours is always worthless.

Nightride, probably in January after boom-boom season, and after I get about 3 more miles of trail cleared and marked.

It is hard to ask for a better day for riding in December! We started out with 5 of us for breakfast, which became 3 for the start of the ride, and then Meef was stuck with me for the rest of his birthday.

The plan was to get lost on some new roads. The navigation paradigm was to turn on every dirt road that we saw, then turn when we saw a smaller dirt road. Wash, rinse, and repeat when the dirt road ran out. It is pretty apparent from our tracks that we successfully wandered around.

Mark did take me on some cool roads in Guernsey County that I had not been on.

Thanks for coming along guys and thanks for hanging with me the whole day Mark.
