Today there at Liebs Island it was 4.5 inches thick. Safe for the bikes and smaller quads.

I figured 4-5 inches was where it needed to be. I haven't driven on ice in over 10 years, and that was a Jeep on Lake Erie, seems like it was near 10" at the fishin' hole I drove out to.

Our pond is shallow (like 4 feet most of the way across) so it freezes pretty well.

I'm definitely miss the ice riding, but sitting at a barbecue tonight, I can't be too upset.

Here's one more. Kirk has the back kicked out while Bob closes in.

I hear tomorrow is supposed to be 60 degrees.

If any of you FF's want to come watch or try a few laps of riding, we'll be there tomorrow starting about 11am.

Either Fairfield Beach, Brooks Beach or Liebs Island parking lots. I'm not exactly sure where they rode today so we'll look at those 3 spots until we find the other riders. Tomorrow will be the last day as the forecast is for warming up next week.

Wanted to make this, but had to work yesterday. How do you like the Husky?
