Never been to the first one but I stopped at Spud Run on my way down to Atlanta last summer.

Enjoy the ride today, I'm jealous!

Too bad it's about a mile off pavement to get there, would make a cool tag.

Fun ride yesterday. We didn't have any log crossings but I did have a couple of interesting moments on some snowy/icy/muddy (all at once!?) stretches of road.

The Craigslist Killer loop was interesting, I imagined the area would be more remote.

...forgot the lime

heres a good drink recipe:

Mason Mixin

start with a quart sized mason jar, fill with ice
add 1 shot amaretto
2 shots vodka
fill with orange juice
stir
enjoy

btw, spotted a bike for sale on my ride today:

across the street from the Speedway in Wellston is a pawn shop and in front of that pawn shop was parked a 2001 KTM 640 (didnt know there were 3 different versions so didnt notice which one it was but it looked like this):

It had 6400 miles on the speedo and a price tag of $3500, which KBB suggests is a bit high. Bike looked to be in pretty decent shape but the graphics decals were somewhat loose and a little scuffed...had aggressive dual sport (almost knobby) tires...front looked pretty good but rear was about half worn. shoulda took a picture but didnt...

For 3500 there had better be about $900 in cash under the seat....

thats kinda what I thought....KBB suggests retail prices for that zip code from 2590 to 3120 depending on which model...but of course its a pawn shop and they arent gonna want to lose money on the deal...if they gave $3000 for it then they probably wont budge off $3500. I'm thinking they gave $2500 for it and are hoping they'll turn it over for a quick $1k profit...if not, they have room to haggle.

btw, did I mention it was plated?

Pour cold Gin into a rocks glass with a few ice cubes and a splash of water. Sip and enjoy while staring at the unopened bottle of tonic water that's been sitting in the fridge for two years.

I've seen similar recipes for a martini. What is it about Gin drinkers?

We actually have an unopened bottle of tonic water that is at least 3 years old.......I think I have had one Gin and tonic and it was not enjoyable, but the barkeep was questionable, so I won't rule out that they can be good.

I've been on a bourbon kick for about 4 years now. Usually Buffalo Trace neat, but we just picked up a bottle of this:

Not sure what special occasion is going to justify opening it.....

The Winston Churchill method. Best not to pollute the Gin.
